Hello!
first, I want to thank all the ones who have dropped me comments these past weeks, showing me (us) their support and love and specially to the kind , , and Yesenia Maybee (where/who are you?) who have helped us financially by donating! I can't tell you how much this means to us!

You've all been asking how my mom is doing, how did it all go...
and I though I'd made it more fun and personal if you got to meet my mom, so here she is:





Surgery went ok, doctors couldn't replace the 2 discs with the super implants, because it was all too damaged and it wouldn't have helped much in the logn term. So, she only got one and they had to remove a part of her hip and fix it to her discs with screws and a titanium plate/plaque(?). The replacement from disc to the one implant, went ok. Surgery went on for about 4 hours and it took her forver to get out of the recovery room.

She stayed many days at the hospital and was having lots of pain regardless of the painkillers but after about 5 days she was getting home, pretty fast I'd say.

Being home, she started the neck, shoulders, throat started to ache badly, but it's been over a week now and my mom has been able to get up for the entire day for 2 days now! It all still aches, but with medicine and rest, the pain is nothing compared to before!

I told her about all the support you've shown us here on dA and about the financial help we've gotten, and she was moved, she never expected something like this! So, she wanted me to take some shots of her to say hi and thank you to all of YOU:








I tried to align that to the right, but I don't know how! lol
With the money you guys have sent her, plus some money I've saved, we're gonna pay for her kinesiology and vocal chords treatment! I am so happy!

In other good news, I got a job!! It's not the best payment in the world and I admit I'm not super excited, but they will higher my payment on January and it has a nice proyection for me professionally, it's a small ad agency
I'm starting tomorrow!!

I've already had 2 workdays at Zebra (ad agency), I'll be working as an account executive, that means I'll be responsable for all advertising (TV commercials, press, branding activities and contests, etc. for several brands, like Subaru ((cars) for this brand I'll also deal with all the press media, which I've never done before!), Forum (automobile's financiery (?)) and many fragances for girls and women, here in Chile. Not bad huh? People are nice to me, it takes me 20 mins with the bus to get there, I'll try to get there by bike (so near!) so that I do some excercise, and I discovered that I absolutely HATE revolving doors, the stress me so much!
They were designing my business cards yesterday and this tuesday the whole agency (16 people) will go have dinner at a nice restaurant to celebrate Zebra's first year! Isn't that cool?

Today morning I went to a flea market from my former school to sell some stuff and tons of quail eggs to contiue raising money, but I only got to sell 5 packages bummer!

Life is getting better!
